The Ancient Wisdom Foundation

• Short Term Objectives:

 

1. The continued provision of the Ancient Wisdom Foundation website (ancient-wisdom.com and ancient-wisdom.com) as a FREE education resource:

   Adjusting the website to adopt the framework of the Ancient Wisdom Foundation. Creating improved reference sections with a view to offering a concise and reputable research vehicle for both knowledge and wisdom.

    

2. 2014 Fact finding trip to the Bosnian Pyramid and Gobekli Tepe:

   Two of the most interesting archaeological sites in the world today and the ancient-wisdom team are planning its first official field-trip to both. We will be asking the most pertinent questions to the most knowledgeable people. How old are they, who made them, and what can we learn from them today?

    

3. Creation of the First Physical Ancient Wisdom Foundation Centre:

   Raising sufficient capital for the purchase of a piece of land sufficient in size and purpose to create a centre from which the Ancient Wisdom Foundation can operate physically. Once complete, the centre will be used for workshops, speakers, research and the practical hands-on application of ancient wisdom. The centre will be available for community projects, encouraging local interest and participation at all levels. The initial research aspect of the foundation will be centred on the following fields of study:

• Long Term Objectives:

To initiate the purchase and reclamation of natural areas of wilderness, implementing successful management of ecological and permaculture projects leading to a profitable return based on the template of the original ancient wisdom centre. These areas will be designed to benefit local communities by encouraging communal participation in the conservation of local landscapes, as well as providing platforms for continued training/experience and education.

Creating a network centre for training, research and employment opportunities in the areas of study covered by the Foundation. Encouraging the development of practical applications of ancient wisdom. Sponsoring initiatives to employ said applications, and demonstrating their benefits and feasibility in the modern world.

To procure secured sponsorship and long-term funding for the Foundation, either privately, through local organisations, or with the assistance of Local, National, EEC Grants.

• Foundation Structure:

The Foundation will be ultimately governed by a board of representatives, each member coordinating their own particular field of interest.  Representatives will be chosen on their merit, not just their education. At present the project is run solely by myself (Alex Whitaker), and Zakk Whitman (Co-Director), until such time as the Board of Representatives is complete.

• Vacancies:

Researchers: (Voluntary)

Requirements: We are looking for a selection of independent researchers to involve themselves in the research aspect of the ancient-wisdom website, improving the quality, scope and depth of existing content, and investigating new and related content. Researchers are also invited to write journalistic, factual and referenced articles of their own for inclusion in the site.

Fund Raisers: (Percentage Profit)

Fund raising is one of the most important aspects of any foundation/charity enterprise. We are looking to recruit a team of motivated people with the ability to secure the financial stability of the foundation. Applicants will be expected to work under their own initiative, and as part of a team. This is an opportunity with potential to make a substantial income career at the same time as being involved in creating a genuine foundation for the future.
