England - Grey Wethers. (Stone Circles)

 

Location Devon. 2.5 miles N of Postbridge.

Description: The rings were restored in the 19th century.

There are two rings, both circular, the southern (33.2m), slightly larger than the northern (32.m).

Charcoal was found spread over the interior of the rings. This is similar to Brisworthy and Fernworthy only a mile to the East.

Alignments: The two rings are laid out on an almost exactly north-south axis. Restored 1909
